first_imgSign up for our COVID-19 newsletter to stay up-to-date on the latest coronavirus news throughout New York A Mastic teenager was sentenced Monday to 20 years to life in prison for his role in the shooting death of a 21-year-old man during a Medford repair shop robbery on Christmas two years ago.Cesar Figueroa pleaded guilty to second-degree murder last month at Suffolk County court.Prosecutors said the 19-year-old man and his accomplice, 21-year-old Brandon Davis of Bridgehampton, demanded cash from four people before shooting them all at Whitestar MTR on Cedarhurst Avenue on Dec. 25, 2013.Figueroa shot three people who suffered non-life-threatening injuries and Davis fired the shots that killed Bristel.Davis was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced last month to life in prison without the possibility of parole.last_img read more
